W29 Market Statistics
October, 2009 vs. October, 2008
The number of active listings in W29 decreased by 40.67 % in October, 2009 over the same month in 2008. New listings came on the Toronto Board at a slower pace in October, 2009 over October, 2008 with 18.68% fewer listings. The number of homes sold increased significantly by 32 homes or 88.89%! The average days on the market decreased from 49 to 41. Average sale prices were up by 14.89%. Sale prices are more in line with October, 2007, when the average sale price was $291,323.
Year to Date, 2009 vs. Year to Date, 2008
The number of homes listed in W29, year-to-date has decreased from 945 in 2008 to 879 in 2009, which is a decrease of 6.98%. The number of homes sold increased by 11.82%. Average sale prices are up slightly by 1.33% year over year.
